To any nobles in the area around Arcana:

After a short voyage from Feynesse we are likely to be among the
first to set foot on the undiscovered continent of Arcana.
As it is, we are very much interested to make a piece of the
vast land our new home. Since it would be surprising if there
were no nobles to follow our path, we hereby announce that we
are open for trade and cooperation of any kind and welcome
any nobles that have the same spirit of mind.

The humble servants of

To All Olympians:

SOCRATES has explored, settled, and now claims the island of Amene
as our own. Please contact us before visiting, as unauthorized
trespassers will be dealt with in a most unpleasant manner.

Thank you,

Journal entry
Sunsear, month 4, in the year 1

Now that the ships have departed I must begin my
work. Knowing the events of the day, and the lands
of the nobles may go a long way toward promoting
survival in these harsh and unforgiving times.

Soon will be time to explore the lands and send
out feelers to the others, so that we may if not
avoid the coming conflicts, we can weather them.

                                 Rumors

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Private morality may rest on many factors, divine
approval, personal character, or abstract duties.

The concept of the proper application of morality to
practical political life, is one that judges the skill
of all participants in terms of the efficacy with which
they achieve noble ends. Whatever the form of government,
only success and glory really matter.

Thus, a ruler needs to acquire a good reputation, while
actually doing whatever wrong seems necessary in the
circumstances to achieve his ends. He must seem to be
generous, while spending his money wisely, appear to be
compassionate, while ruling his armies cruelly, and act
with great cunning, while cultivating a reputation for
integrity. Although it is desirable to be both loved and
feared by one's subjects, it is difficult to achieve both,
and of the two, it is far safer for a ruler to be feared.

S E C R E T R U M O U R U N V E I L E D ! ! !

Greetings!

We, the Anonymous Archeologist Society, have stumbled upon an
ancient artifact that can be dated long back before the sinking
of Atlantis. We thought to withhold it from the public until we
had revealed its function. However, due to some circumstances
of late, we have decided to share our knowledge.

The artifact is a mirror made of finest mithril. The mirror is
embedded in an unpolished, raw frame with a little inscription
on the top and bottom part. The reflecting front part of the
mirror is attached to the frame and is polished to perfection
by fingers gifted in magic craft. It also bears an engraved
inscription in keys of an ancient empire we have yet failed
to understand.

All research indicates, however, that it must be an ancient
rumour, prophecy or hint of some sort. Even if the content of the
inscription is mysterious and unclear to us, we find that this is
definatly news worth beeing mentioned in this great newspaper. We
hope that the brightest of minds of this world can unravel this
mystery and find possible connections to the secrets of the
ancients.

Please find attached an exact drawing of the mirror.

Some nobles can't tell East from West!

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Down boy, we'll let you destroy them eventually, but we need to eat first.

Stop War but do not wage it;
Protect, but do not control;

Wise man say: He who posts public turn report without
asking allies is no ally, but enemy.
You have been warned.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Gotta make a pit stop to recover from my
first turn screw-up then will be on my
way again

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Red Banner cockalition seeks to claim "Ashur"
Don't they know that it's spelled "Asur"?
Their solution might end in Bleat.
"Baaaaaa!"

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

A whole is a whole, Bockor thought,
and he "mounted" his sow.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

We think the Red Ribbon Coallition can have Ashur
as long as they leave Asur open to anybody else.
(Where the heck is Ashur anyway?)
